He urged parents and teachers to engage their wards/students in Health Education and discuss freely with them all health-related issues as this will motivate the children to open up to their parents and teachers. The Education Boss sounded it loud and clear that “the fear of Cancer is the beginning of wisdom, therefore preventive measures should be strictly adhered to detect the early signs of the deadly disease.  Children including students are the future investments and warehouses of the society and as such should be properly guided on how to decode any health challenge.”

He opined that children should not feel shy to tell or show their parents about any ill health they encounter, irrespective of the part of the body affected, so that  cure will not be difficult, as he added, “no part of the body should be regarded as ‘private’ within the family circle to detect any sickness quite on time.”

He thanked the President of the Board of Trustees, WAWUC, Dr. Okechukwu Duru and the entire staff of WAWUC for their selfless service to God and humanity at large.
